TURAB are always focused on ensuring that our customers' facilities generate as much as possible as much fossil-free electricity as possible, and we are proud that we work in an industry which is part of the solution to the fossil-free electricity supply of the future.TURAB welcomes the revision of the Swedish National Plan, NAP. We hope it results in a fresh start to better balance areas of interest such as biological diversity and fossil-free electricity production. TURAB believes in a positive future for small-scale hydropower. We have a good one order entry for both some new turbines, service and renovation. That we can extend the life of a water turbine by 40 years after a renovation, which has already produced electricity for over 100 years, it is truly sustainable. Nässjö in Småland locates our premises with close proximity to our main customer base. As far as we can, we work with local subcontractors in Sweden. INNOVATION IN HYDROPOWERWhen TURAB renovates a facility, it uses we modern technology to calculate and optimise a new turbine runner using 3D flow analysis. This because an existing facility must have a maximum highest efficiency and increased output. If it's a Kaplan, a conversion to an oil-free runner is often done in order to reduce environmental impact. Modern technology can raise production and performance of many plants.
